Still waiting to hear back from nursing school! And going slightly insane, of course. When I called last week, they said they were trying to get the letters mailed by Tuesday. That was yesterday, but no letter in my mailbox today. But that means any day now is fair game! As I was browsing Pinterest this morning, I saw this. Pardon the language, but I thought it was hilarious and quite fitting. :)

In other news, I'm currently addicted to my iPhone. It's amazing. I never really imagined all the stuff it can do! I downloaded the Couch to 5k app and it times your workout and announces when you walk/run, and you can listen to music over it, all at the same time!! It's fantastic. The running, not so much. I've never been a runner and there hasn't been a day in the last week I haven't been sore. But that's a good thing, right? I hope so!

I have a test on Thursday, so I guess I should be going to study! I really want to go to Starbucks, because that's where I study best. Maybe I'll try a skinny latte, again. I tried one once and hated it. Any healthy Starbucks recommendations? Running tips?

  1. I seriously need to try the Couch to 5k thing. I've been running lately, but it would help if I had some sort of schedule to push me along. I'm at absolute Starbucks addict, so I have all sorts of ideas. I never really go for the skinny lattes, bc they don't just do the non-fat milk in them, they also do the sugar-free syrups. If you just simply ask for non-fat milk, you're already cutting out about 250-320 calories (from a grande drink). One of the most healthy options that still tastes good is the Caramel Macciato with non-fat milk. If you get it hot, be sure to ask for no foam. You get more drink for your money. I do that for all lattes as well. Less foam means more drink. ;)

Btw, I also wanted to let you know about a military giveaway I'm doing on my blog. I know this is technically not the way to go about doing giveaways, but I wanted to make sure people were aware of it and wanted to give a heads up to all the military wives' blogs I'm following. Hope you get a chance to check it out! :)
